E-LIQUID ADDITIVES
* Sold single, unless stated otherwise
E-liquid additives are ingredients beyond the main components (propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, and flavorings) used to modify the taste, sensation, or performance of e-liquids.
IMPORTANT!
Before making a purchase, remember that all liquids with strong citrus, mint, cola-flavored flavors, as well as all liquids with the addition of koolada or menthol can damage pods and tanks that are not made by PCTG or pyrex material. Due to the fact that the customer was informed before purchasing the strong aroma liquid about the risk of damage to the Pod/Tank, So Vapordna.gr is not responsible for any damage caused by the said liquid. Complaints in this regard will not be accepted.
Additive Types
• Sweet Effect: These enhance the sweet notes of the e-liquid. Common options include sucralose and ethyl maltol (which adds a cotton candy-like quality). They are very popular, especially in dessert, candy, and fruit flavors, but can cause coil gunk accumulation.
• Cool Effect: These additives provide a cool or icy sensation in the mouth and throat. Menthol is a common additive that adds a minty flavor, while other agents like WS-23 provide a clean cooling effect without a strong mint taste, popular in fruit or beverage vapes designed to taste "on ice".
• Acid Effect: Used primarily in fruit and sour candy flavors, acids like citric acid and malic acid add a tangy or sour edge and can enhance the "juiciness" of a flavor profile.
• Flavor Effect: Other agents, such as furaneol (caramel/roasted notes) or acetyl pyrazine (nutty/bready notes), can be used to add depth and complexity to existing flavors.
• Thin Effect: Occasionally, a few drops of distilled water or pure grain alcohol may be added to very thick, high-VG e-liquids to thin them slightly, helping them work better with certain vape devices and enhancing throat hit.
